Shipping Clerk

TNT Recruitment seeks to employ a Shipping Clerk for our client within the Clothing Manufacturing Industry, based in Umbilo. Applicant must have had at least 2-3 years experience in a similar position with the focus on shipping.

**Skills required**:

- Be strong in numerical skills
- Must be able to understand & meet deadlines
- Must be able to handle pressure
- Be able to deal with conflict management
- Financial diploma or working towards one would be an advantageous
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and Sync

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Request packing lists from suppliers
- Give out packing lists to merchandisers
- Confirm shipment bookings
- Update confirmed shipments Steps on SYNC
- Request commercial documents from suppliers based on confirmed shipments
- commercial documents to coordinators
- Get Claim deductions from Suppliers
- Prepping of landed costings
- Budgets for landed costings
- Updating freight rate/costs to reconcile to budget
- Updating Forex cover - Feedback regarding surplus/shortfall against orders.
- Docs for merch meetings regarding suppliers/forward cover
- Creating BOP - Bank forms for payment on shipments

**Offer based on experience**

Pay: R10 000,00 - R13 000,00 per month
