Position: Data Collector

Contract Duration: 8 weeks

At the same time we ensure that the data collection process is ethical and leaves a positive impact on the communities we work in. Our current project requires diligent Data Collectors to assist us in gathering crucial information from the field. This short-term contract offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in data collection and contribute to meaningful research.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Data Collector, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting on-site data collection in the Mitchells Plain area.
- Utilizing a tablet to record accurate data and complete necessary documentation.
- Ensuring attention to detail and maintaining data integrity throughout the process.
- Following established protocols and guidelines for data collection.
- Collaborating with the team to report progress and address any challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Valid driver's license.
- Confidence and professionalism while interacting with individuals in the community.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate data collection.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets for data entry.
- Strong communication skills to provide research participants with accurate information in order to obtain informed consent.
