**Ugie Area - Eastern Cape**: Our client is looking for a Herdsman Supervisor to join the team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12
- Higher Agricultural Training an advantage
- Experience in Cattle Farming
- Experience in supervision of beef of farming enterprise
- Valid Code 8 (B) driver’s license

**RECOMMENDED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALITIES**
- Previous herding and fencing experience
- Read, write and counting ability
- Good team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate in English and Xhosa
- Physically fit
- Ability to work outdoors

**KEY RESULT AREAS**
- Herding
- Fencing
- Daily counts and completion of count sheets
- Safe loading
- Offloading
- Walking distance exceeding 600meters
- Horse riding
- Be able to perform branding, tagging, vaccinations, dipping, dosing dehorning and castrating of calves.
- Assist veterinarians with testing of bulls and cows and or treatment of sick animals
- Do standby as per rosters
