**Mitra ACADEMY** is a non-traditional micro-school, inspired by Sugata Mitra and empowering children to be independent learners.

**The post consists of**:

- Two lessons a day ONLY
- Teaching a mixed-age group of 10 learners, most of which have never done Afrikaans before.
- Assessing and tracking learner performance.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Afrikaans in South Africa
- SACE registration
- Experience teaching FET Phase will be an advantage.

**Pay **is negotiable.

**Job Application Process**:
If you meet the minimum requirements, we will invite you for a morning of your choice so you can experience the Academy first-hand. We will then ask you to prepare your own lesson for a different day.

Part-time hours: 8 per week
