Signage Electrician

We are looking to hire a highly skilled and organized Signage Electrician from the signage industry to join our growing company. In this position

**DUTIES**

A sign electrician is a very specific type of electrical professional who works on signs. These skilled workers are considered electricians but depending on where they work may or may not be licensed in the same way as residential and commercial electricians. They often work on a variety of signs, from those that are simple but require lighting to high-tech video signs. A sign Electrician may work indoors or outdoors, and the work is often physically demanding and sometimes dangerous.

**SKILLS**

2-5 years of previous experience in the signage Industry.

These skilled professionals are specialists because they only work on electrical systems related to signs. Examples of signs these workers may install, or repair includes electronic billboards along roadways, signs mounted on buildings and electronic scoreboards at sporting venues. Some of the duties of a sign electrician include:Installing signs
- Maintaining signs
- Diagnosing and fixing signs
- Wiring of signs
- Installing and fixing lighting used with signs.
- Making upgrades to signs and lighting

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Qualified Electrician

Pay: R84.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
