Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a Junior Help Desk Agent to join their team. If you are a team player, honest, with a happy disposition, then this is the company for you Please note this role is on a renewable 1 year contract basis.

**Requirements**:

- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in IT
- 1 year experience as a Junior Help Desk Agent is preferable, although recent IT graduates who have an interest in working the help desk are welcome to apply
- No Criminal Records
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work well in a team

**Duties**
- Ensure that client is updated on call status
- Ensuring that call logging is done in accordance
- Preparation of documentation for invoicing purposes
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is
- Utilising the ticketing system and ensuring that tickets are updated and closed on the system
- Be open to participate in ad hoc tasks
- Adhere to a strict working hours and maintain punctuality
- Be willing to learn new skills when the business requires
