Estate with a Luxury Hotel and onsite Deli in the Brackenfell / Stellenbosch area is looking for a Baker, responsible for the production of artisan breads and pastries. Must have high volume production experience and excellent planning abilities.
- Ability to produce bread and other baked goods using manual and/or industrial processes
- Knowledge of raw materials for dough, dough preparation times and procedures and various baking techniques
- Knowledge of recipes and production techniques for bread and baked goods
- Ability to operate electric and gas bread ovens
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations for food preparation
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational and planning skills
- Sound knowledge and understanding of all dietary and religious requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- 2-4 years experience as a baker or similar role.
- Formal Chef qualification (advantageous)
