Retail Buyer

**Rietfontein, Pretoria Moot: RETAIL BUYER**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Well presented and professional **Afrikaans speaking** individual
- Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Key requirement - Not negotiable)
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant Diploma / Degree preferred
- Recent experience AS A RETAIL BUYER A MUST, s**pecifically in retail and industrial purchasing a must**
- Responsible and reliable, with strong administrative skills
- Computer literate in MS Office (Pastel Evolution advantageous)
- High attention to detail and accuracy, and able to handle large volumes
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
- Stable employment record and contactable References
- To start as soon as possible

**Duties**:

- Full buyer functions of wholesales packaging supplier (Integral part of Procurement function in Company)
- Placing orders and price negotiations
- Manage stock levels - Inventory optimisation
- Souring quality suppliers and stock
- Identifying / sourcing of stock items
- Supplier liaison, follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders
- Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
- Stock Take

**Salary: R 15 000.00 - R 18 000.00 gross maximum (depending on relevant experience)**
