**JOB PURPOSE**

The Planning Assistant supports the needs of the Planning and Allocating functions, being proficient across all tasks relating to these roles. Reports on key areas relating to business performance and produces material that aids decision making.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Data exporting, collating and updating.
- Data analysis.
- Reporting on key areas.
- Assist with planning processes.
- Assist with allocating stock to stores.
- Monitor workflow and assist where necessary.

**KEY SKILLS**
- Be able to manage time efficiently.
- Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be fully competent in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Be highly flexible and adaptable to suit departments needs.
- Be able to work both independently and within a team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
(You must be able to answer **“YES”** to all requirements listed below)
- Matric Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s Licence - Code 8 unendorsed (advantageous).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role / in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
