**Job Description
- Your day-to-day duties will include**:

- Performing necessary maintenance and repair work on equipment and defective units as well as maintenance actions
- Ensuring that all required tools, material and spares are available to perform tasks
- Requesting equipment and stock requisitions required
- Completion of job cards
- Completing and signing off allocated work orders
- Reporting any malfunctioning to Engineering Foreman/Artisan
- Complying with maintenance/breakdown schedules
- Complying with Operational Risk Management Programme - (A1 Safety)
- Compiling accurate shift and work order reports
- Compiling safety, injury, risk and incident reports
- Assisting during breakdowns or emergencies

**This role is in the Engineering Department at a C1 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.**

**Qualifications
- Qualifications**
- Certified Competent as a Stope Serviceman (UG hard rock)
- Electrical trade qualification is an advantage

**Experience **required**
- 18 months’ previous experience as Engineering Repair person / Assistant Multi Discipline
- Experience as a Stope Serviceman would be an advantage

- Please note that this is a night shift position If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
