Boilermaker

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Boilermaker at Rutland Sawmill, Mpumalanga.
***Responsibilities and Duties**
- Conduct fabrication, cutting and grinding
- Conduct planned maintenance and mechanical installations
- Welding duties
- Assist in the compilation of work procedures and risk assessments
- Conduct on-the-job training
- Building of conveyers, shoots and structures
- Implementation of preventative maintenance programs
- Maintaining current structures and conveyers
- Knowledge of building and refurbishing Bell Logger grabs (advantageous)

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Matric / Grade 12
- Trade certificate in Boilermaker
- 10 years’ experience as a Boilermaker
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (sawmill industry advantageous)
- Knowledge of welding principles
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of plant equipment and processes
- Knowledge pertaining to lock out and isolation procedures
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Practical, problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be medically fit
- Valid driver’s license and willing to travel for onsite work
