**What you'll have done before**:
Baseline
- NQF Level 6 - National Diploma and Advanced Certificate in Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Intermediate Industry Standard Cybersecurity, Governance, or Risk Certifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in an IT Risk Analyst, IT GRC, Cybersecurity Analyst or IT Auditor role.

Advantageous
- NQF Level 7 - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry Certifications such as CISSP/ CISM/ CRISC/ CISA/ ISO27001
- 6 years’ experience in an IT, Cybersecurity, or IT auditor role.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.

- Developing and delivering cybersecurity training programs for employees.

**What you'll be doing**:
**CYBERSECURITY GOVERNANCE, COMPLIANCE & ASSURANCE**
- Align with organizational goals and governance structure.
- Oversee and review IT controls and compliance.
- Conduct cybersecurity business impact assessments.
- Provide cybersecurity compliance guidance.
- Review audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
- Facilitate assurance reviews and access certifications.

**INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISMS)**
- Align Engen’s ISMS with best practices and industry standards.
- Evaluate and remediate cybersecurity control gaps.
- Collaborate on the information asset inventory.

**CYBERSECURITY RISK MANAGEMENT**
- Adhere to IT risk frameworks and principles.
- Conduct risk assessments and report on key risks.
- Monitor and recommend risk reduction for vulnerabilities.
- Support risk treatment plans and remediation.

**INCIDENT RESPONSE**
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Participate in incident investigations and response activities.

**AWARENESS AND TRAINING**
- Enhance security awareness across the organization.
- Monitor and report on mandatory training completion.
