We are looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to come and join our Bambanani family, to be in charge of coordinating and supervising the restaurant's kitchen staff according to food safety standards. The duties involve hiring, training and scheduling cooks, performing quality control on food leaving the kitchen and ordering inventory to keep up with demand.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
- Supervise food prep and cooking
- Check food plating and temperature
- Streamlining the kitchen process to maintain prompt service time
- Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
- Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
- Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying the staff is maintaining sanitation levels
- Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
- Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a kitchen manager
- Hands on experiance with planning menus and ordering ingridients
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent organisation skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Ability to manager a tram in a fast paced work environment
- Flexible to work during evenings and weekends

**Salary**: R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melville, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
