Core Description
To be responsible for the overall control and management of the logistics functions of the company, involving distribution, transportation, and inventory control. To be responsible for establishing the company strategy to ensure cost-effective flow of products inside and outside the business unit. To provide an overall management function of the logistic and procurement unit within the business unit. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Ensure that the various regions are properly stocked to execute on their regional requirements Support the regions in managing the national repair cycle as per the contracts. Coaching & staff development with focus on warehousing Team Management Management of Octane internal DC stock Management of stock distribution to the Regional Distribution centres (RDC) National management and oversight of optimal Inventory levels per product line, linked to the specific line of business. Deliver Waste Minimization. HSSEQ & Standards compliance in line with customer, group and Regulatory requirements. Warehousing administration Drive Leader Standard Work and deliver effective Document Management System aligned to Group Policies and ways of working. Planning and prioritising workflow/schedules Functional Skills

Skilled in operational understanding of Service Station operations and the associated contracts.

Communication and Impact 1. Job Match Qualifications NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma OR NQF 4: Grade 12 Experience
Minimum 9 years’ experience in Warehouse Management & Logistics role across various Centers / Regions.
Operational exposure in Service station Warehousing requirements. Forecourt OEM experience would be an advantage.
Experience with LEAN and Total Quality Management. Certifications / Professional Registration None Special Requirements/ Employment Condition Based at BCX Head Office Work Characteristics Billable
