Fibreglass Laminator

Our national client, a leading player in the truck body repair industry in South Africa, specializing in providing high-quality repairs and customization services requires your skills, qualifications and experience as a Fibreglass Laminator for their Cape Town operation to contribute to the excellence of their truck body repair services.

**1. **Fiberglass Repair and Fabrication**:

- Conducting inspections to assess the extent of damage on truck bodies.
- Performing fiberglass repairs on damaged sections, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
- Fabricating new components using fiberglass materials based on specifications.

**2. **Lamination Techniques**:

- Ensuring the proper curing of fiberglass components through appropriate temperature and humidity control.

**3. **Quality Control**:

- Conducting quality checks to ensure that repaired or fabricated components meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Identifying and addressing any defects, imperfections, or irregularities in the fiberglass work.

**4. **Collaboration**:

- Working closely with other team members, including technicians and designers, to ensure seamless integration of fiberglass components into the overall truck body structure.

**5. **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Staying informed about industry regulations and best practices related to fiberglass lamination.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Fiberglass Laminator in the truck body repair industry.
- Familiarity with various fiberglass materials, resins, and lamination techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance in fiberglass work.
- Grade 12 and any Fibreglass qualifications required

Kindly note that these are urgent positions and need to be filled soonest. Normal time hours per week is 45 but the client works alot of overtime and most Saturdays due the the volume of work.

There is a great possibility that you may be afforded a position directly with the client in future but initially you will be employed by us as the agency and assigned to the client for the duration of your assignment.

**Salary**: R30.00 - R45.00 per hour
