**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Bookkeeping**:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients and customers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records of bank transactions and statements.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports for management review as needed.
- Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting financial documents.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- **Data Analysis and Interpretation**:

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Professional certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar designation.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
