**Training Officer for Delmas Campus (Crop Production)**

This position suits individuals with an interest in developing commercial farmers. Buhle Farmers Academy seeks a Training Officer for the Delmas Campus. The training officer has the duty of managing emerging farmers' learning and professional development by continually assessing and meeting the needs of students in the classroom and practically on the field.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop and implement training
- Evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology
- Plant and maintain diverse crop fields
- Provide training in various provinces as needed
- Professionally operate a tractor

**Qualifications**
- **A diploma or degree in Plant Production**:

- 2 years training experience
- **AgriSETA Accredited Assessor and Moderator**:

- Computer literate, include PowerPoint and Excel
- A valid driver’s license

**Skills Requirement**
- Teaching and facilitation skills
- Experience in enterprise planning and budgets of grain crops
- **Experience in financial management**:

- **Experieince in crafting business plans**:

- Experience in all aspects of grain crop production
- **Report writing**:

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: R12 000-R15 000

**Required education**: B-tech/Bachelor's

**Required experience**: AgriSETA Accredited Assessor and Moderator: 1 year
