Senior Videographer

Highbury Media T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse, whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences. We are searching for a skilled senior videographer to join our creative team. The work is exciting and varied, we are looking for someone who can easily adapt to different brands and produce high-quality video content for our digital platforms.
You will be responsible for growing our social media pages with weekly video uploads across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. Experience in social media page management will be to your advantage, we are looking for someone who understands the latest video trends and the ability to monetize content to its fullest. One shall be working closely with the brand editors who drive the brand’s content strategy, to ensure balanced video representation across all brand’s channels, web/mobile web, social media, 3rd party.

**Key skills and experience**:
A minimum of 5-6 years in video production.
Strong experience with mirrorless cameras and filming equipment, you may need to use personal gear on occasions.
Experience with lighting equipment such as Kino flow and LED panel lighting.
Experience with run and gun audio equipment, lapel mics, Rode wireless go, Zoom H1Ns.
Experience with operating gimbals and Drone (no operators license required)
A high level of skill in editing software, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Audio editing and sound design.
Knowledge in video codes, understanding how to compress and resize for different platforms.
Drivers licence and own transportation.
Ability to upload to and manage different social media pages.
Working under pressure, same day deadlines.
Assisting in managing the junior - intern videographers and assisting with approving video content.
