**Job Advert Summary**:
**Main Purpose of Position**:
The primary focus of the role will be to provide tax advisory services to clients (corporates and high net worth individuals) as part of a close knit, highly motivated and ambitious team of consultants.

The successful applicant will perform their duties under the direct supervision of senior team members and will be given the opportunity to learn and grow in a positive and uplifting environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience and Skills Required**:

- SAICA training contract completed
- Good client and inter-personal relationship management
- Prior exposure to technical tax matters and group reorganisation transactions beneficial
- Strong report writing skills

***Minimum **Level of Education/Qualifications Required**:

- SAICA’s ITC Exam
- SAICA’s APC Exam

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the team in providing tax advice to clients regarding:

- corporate transactions (mergers and acquisitions, group restructures, funding transactions etc.);
- the conceptualisation of tax efficient structures;
- international / offshore structures (both inbound and outbound investment);
- private investment structures;
- employee share ownership plans; and
- a wide variety of other tax matters (VAT, STT, Estate Duty etc.)
- Prepare tax structuring memoranda, formal tax opinions, tax advice notes, reports and transaction tax calculations in respect of the above items
- Team member in tax due diligence projects and tax compliance and efficiency review engagements
- Perform income tax reviews on high risk Moore audit clients
- Attending and participating in client meetings
- Provide deal and implementation support in respect of transactions (review of transaction agreements for tax specific matters, advising on post-implementation matters such as the appropriate tax return and financial reporting disclosures etc.)
- Assist with SARS dispute resolution processes, including review of related correspondence and drafting of appropriate responses to SARS
