A Well-known Aviation company is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their company ASAP

**Qualifications**:

- Bookkeeping diploma or studying towards a B.Com Accounting degree;
- 3 + years of full Creditors/Bookkeeping experience on a supervisory/team leader level
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
- Proficient in Syspro
- Understand age analysis of accounts and understand General Ledger structure in
- theory and practice

**Skills**:

- Professional with excellent work standards and ethics
- Ability to function under pressure, multitask, prioritize and to solve problems
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills on all levels; fully conversant in English
- Must be a team player.

**Job description**:

- Accurately capture invoices in the accounting system in order to effect payment on time
- Check creditors’ figures against cash flow schedules for accuracy within specified spend and deadlines
- Ensure invoice figures are properly authorized in accordance with levels of authority and allocates to the correct supplier and general ledger
- Check and match invoices against the order database
- Accurately process invoices in accounts payable and post batches daily
- Payment of invoices as and when required by the business
- Sending Remittance Advices to suppliers after completion of Payment Run
- Filing of Payment Packs after Payment Run
- Accurately prepare monthly reconciliations of Creditors Account Statement against the A/P Age Analysis
- Accurately reconcile G/L and Creditors Accounts on a monthly basis to ensure that the accounts are correctly balanced
- Purchase Order Report, GRN Report and Trial Balance should be on a higher management level as currently being actioned
- Exceptional and timeous query management as well as taking the initiative to resolve it.
