Technical Analyst

**Job Description and Responsibilities**:

- Providing Q.A. engineers with all available data relevant to a problem in order to enable them to concentrate purely on defining the root cause of the problem in-line 18 week cycle for solving problems (Fault Elimination Process - F.A.P.).
- Liaising with counterparts in Germany and other Konzern factories worldwide to ensure that known problems do not occur on vehicles built by the company and also ensure that known problems at the company are not experienced by other factories commencing production of same models at a later stage.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented corrective action using Month of Production graphs, Top Problem lists by Production Year to document out-of-line results, thus highlighting to management/supervision stumbling blocks and likely consequences.
- Initiating investigations by highlighting out-of-line warranty/breakdown in-creases using own generated graphs and Top Problem lists and prepare all relevant data to be captured in a Konzern Problem Management problem sheet.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelors Pass (Grade 12), N3 or equivalent
- A National Diploma in Operations Management would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years ‘experience in an automotive environment.

**Skills, Attributes**:

- Possess a detailed knowledge of warranty reporting systems and market research methods.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Computer literacy to administer databases
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
