**ROLE SUMMARY (PURPOSE)**

To fill the mine equipment with diesel, facilitate the completion of all diesel tasks and performs a variety of tasks related to different areas of the diesel bay including cleanliness, diesel pump maintenance and other diesel bay related functions.

**KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**

1) Responsibilities: Filling the mining equipment with diesel when required and keeping accurate records of the diesel used.

2) Balancing of the diesel register to the quantity left in the tank after the

delivery of the diesel and usage.

3) Recording the opening and closing diesel level per the tank in the diesel

register and ensure that it balances to the diesel which was delivered and

the diesel which was utilized.

4) Performing any other ad hoc duties which have been requested by

management or seniors.

5) Process data relating to diesel enquiries and communicate to the

appropriate personnel.

6) Keeping accurate records of the diesel used.

7) Carry out any reasonable duties besides normal duties as requested.

8) Do pre-shift checks as per the procedure and report defects.

9) Follow prescribed procedure to execute relevant tasks.

**Qualifications /Experience /Skills /knowledge**

1) Grade 12

2) Good communication skills

3) Be able to work independently.

5) 1 to 2 years relevant experience

**Salary**: From R11,000.00 per month
