Water Technician

Our company is looking for a Water Technician to travel between our treatment plants,
do process control and test for water quality.
We have wastewater and potable treatment plants, which are both held to different standards by the NEMA.
In this role, you make regular visits to our plants and test the water, ensuring process
control systems are working and that the chemical levels are appropriate.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Collect water samples
- Test water quality to ensure pH control systems work
- Adjust chemical treatment levels as needed
- Perform compression tests on water pumps to ensure they function correctly.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment.
- Process Control
- Chemicals stock control
- Keep detailed records.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and MHSA regulations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Grade 12
National Diploma / B Tech / Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry
Project or Business Management course
Valid driver’s licence
Medical Fitness Certificate
**EXPERIENCE**
2 years of work experience
