Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. Duties: - Manage workshop operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management - Supervise and train workshop staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment - Collaborate with the sales team to understand market demands and develop strategies to meet customer needs - Conduct market research to identify new products and trends that can enhance workshop offerings - Oversee the purchasing process, including negotiating with vendors and maintaining stock levels - Recruit, interview, and hire new workshop staff as needed - Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency - Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive work environment - Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and performance evaluations Skills: - Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Knowledge of market trends and ability to make informed buying decisions - Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff members - Proficient in math for inventory management and financial analysis - Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, customers, and suppliers - Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire the team towards achieving goals - Administrative skills for managing budgets, reports, and evaluations - Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
