**Main Purpose of Position**:
The main purpose of the Sales Specialist is to improve sales and overall business growth. The sales specialist must be an expert in the product set they sell as well as understand and be able to articulate the vendor’s value proposition and go-to-market in order to assist our customer’s / resellers’ success.

**PERFORMANCE STANDARDS**

**Manage the Sales of the Brand performance for relevant product set and relevant partner base (focus list)**
- Driving revenue targets through targeted set of Relevant brand partners, resellers
- Driving Relevant brand Strategy and portfolio within existing and as per the Focus list
- Display key competencies of knowledge re relevant brand programs and relevant portfolio of products
- Quarterly Business Review Session with Relevant brand
- Drive targeted partner development planning and review as per the focus list.
- Drive Relevant brand Product Strategy and overview sessions with Business Partner
- Existing and New (brand specific) partner recruitment and Development
- On-boarding process re Operational processes within focus list.
- Build and manage effective relationships with relevant brand team members.
- Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan in conjunction with Strategic business partners Execs and Brand Manager
- Demonstrate sales growth.
- Report opportunity details to Relevant brand on a regular basis (weekly) showing deal progression and pipe line creation using Customer Relationship Management system
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed explanation.
- Ensure targeted profit margins are achieved.
- Ensure rebate targets are achieved as set out in accordance with sales budgets.
- Onboarding of new partners to the brand

**Administration**
- Load CRM and manage accurate data through the lifecycle of every opportunity.
- Be able to create quotes for all your products and explain the detail in the quotes to your customers.
- Request and evaluation quotes for submission
- Follow up on quotes.
- Follow up on operations responses.
- Manage SLA with brand operations
- Managing the deal from start to finish
- Check all your sales dashboards for accuracy frequently.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Grade 12
- Degree or Diploma in IT

**Minimum Experience**:

- 2 years in the distribution in a sales or brand role.

**Nice-to-have Skills**:

- Experience in CCTV Video Surveillance, Access Control Sales
- Experience in ICT
- Pre Sales / technical competencies
