Kendrick Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Field Guide to join a luxury lodge based in the fantastic Sabi Sand Game Reserve. As a Field Guide, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge of the local wildlife, provide exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to the conservation efforts in the area.

**Requirements**:
FGASA Level 1 or 2 (NQF Level 2 or 4)
Full Trails qualification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Guide in a Big 5 area
Strong knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and ecosystems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct guided game drives and bush walks in a safe and informative manner
Passion for wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability
Customer service oriented with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences
Valid first aid certification
PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct guided game drives and bush walks, sharing your knowledge and passion for the local wildlife and ecosystems
Provide insightful and educational commentary about the wildlife, flora, and fauna encountered during the tours
Maintain and manage the safari vehicle and equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and cleanliness
Foster positive relationships with guests, addressing their questions and needs in a friendly and professional manner
Collaborate with other team members, such as trackers and lodge staff, to ensure a seamless guest experience
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
