**ACCOUNT MANAGER**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
The main purpose of this position is to manage the relationship and interactions with allocated customers in a manner that promotes an excellent customer experience, including effective administration of the customer account contributing to customer retention and growth within this exciting, innovative, international organization.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
Matric Grade 12
Other qualifications & courses: Have/Studying towards degree/diploma - Sales & Marketing advantageous
Minimum 5 years experience in an account management position in a related industry (motor and vehicle tracking industry) (Business to business)
Intermediate MS Suite
Valid drivers licence essential
Own car essential
**JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

Manage the relationship with allocated customers ensuring retention and growth.
Promote excellent customer experiences through effective implementation of products/services, resolution of queries and continuous communication
Ensure regular customer face-to face visits and to adhere to quarterly customer visitation / contact plans ensuring that all allocated customers are visited / contacted within each quarter.
Set up and attend meetings with customers, keep minutes of meetings and action outstanding matters.
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account matters.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives
Identify potential growth opportunities within allocated customers and grow both hardware and software revenue within base.
Manage End of Term Units ensuring customers upgrade and that valid contracts are in place
To ensure that customers are kept informed of all new products and/or changes to current products
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Prepare reports on account status
Assisting with challenging clients' requests or issue escalation as needed.
Ensure that all required services are being billed monthly, check customer invoices and statements
To manage the Service Levels between the customer and the company.
Package: R20-24k p/m TCTC depending on experience and qualifications. Tools of the trade and commission.
