**CONSTRUCTION / PROJECT MANAGER**

Vacancy for Construction / Project Manager in a high-end residential market

Centurion based

**3 month contract with option to extend to permanent employment.**

**Introduction**:
Our 15 year old company is well established in residential property development in Up-Market estates.

A vacancy exists for a Construction / Project Manager and we require team player to join our dynamic company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
MAIN PURPOSE:
Assist in all Construction with the day to day organising & supervising of construction sites.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparation of the project schedule.
- Assistance with budget projections.
- Management of all building timelines.
- Manage High-end residential projects on a daily basis.
- Ensure completion of and track all independent inspections as required.
- Setting out sites and level control.
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
- Scrutinize designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Supervising sub-contractors daily.
- Quality control on all aspects of the project with a fine eye for detail in finishing.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
- Preparing site reports and site diaries for Management daily, weekly, monthly & as-needed.
- Liaising with management and staff about the ordering of materials and plant hire.
- Ensuring that OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) policies are adhered to and keeping OHS files up to date.
- Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.
- Control and monitor labour, material and equipment expenses.
- Ensure all required municipal inspections are performed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requesting of all quotes required.
- Planning and execution of each project.

**Experience & Qualification**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years’ project management experience required in residential property development

**Skills/attributes and requirements**:

- Suitable IT skills (Microsoft 365 literacy is not negotiable).
- Driven attitude to get work done and motivated to achieve goals.
- Planning and organizational skills essential.
- Own reliable transport required.

Market-related salary.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: R400 000,00 - R500 000,00 per year

**Experience**:
