**Age Range**: 35-50 years old
**Reporting to**: Head of Stores
**Hours**: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; every second Saturday required

**Job Summary**:
Join our dynamic team as a Storeman, where you will play a crucial role in the management of our Stores and Logistics department. We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual, aged 35-50, who thrives in a hands-on work environment. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, stores, tools, managing inventory, and handling occasional product and material deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and maintain a Cardex register, adhering to minimum and maximum quantities and inform the Manager of low stock and shortages.
- Hands-on management of critical spares and maintaining an up-to-date inventory.
- Achieve a 3-day turnaround time for invoice processing.
- Handle requisitions order processing, negotiate prices, and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers.
- Capable of managing a store assistant and controlling access to the store.
- Timely issue and balance of Personal protective equipment stock and other important parts.
- Conduct regular full stock counts, ensuring the store remains neat and organized.
- Receive and issue tools, parts, and materials as per manufacturing schedules.
- Check all received stock for damage and accuracy, updating the Cardex accordingly.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to Health and Safety legislation.
- Ensure proper control of stock that needs to be returned for credit or send for repair.
- Ensure proper control of scrap metal and oil.
- Obtain BEE certificates of suppliers.
- Responsible for the night shift toolbox.
- Manage the delivery and workshop vehicle.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Strong Leader with strong moral values.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sage.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Skills in Sage accounting or similar accounting software.
- Ability to use the company business system with initial training.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Logical thinker with a proactive "can do" attitude.
- Good organizational skills.

**Working Hours**:
Commitment to work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Availability to work every second Saturday is required.

**Application Process**:
**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
