**Job description**

**Incumbent’s Job Purpose**
- **Incumbent needs to start immediately**_

Incumbent will be responsible to manage all communication in and out of the Orders Department to ensure smooth running of the department, resulting in satisfied Customers.

Incumbent will be required to do the following, but not limited to:

- Respond to, and process orders/requests/queries according to company procedures
- Manage customer queries/complaints and make sure client issues are handled efficiently and within a reasonable time frame, including feedback to Management
- Initiate outgoing calls according to calling lists
- Acting on and following up on deviations; with daily feedback to Management
- Printing and sorting of invoices
- Data-capturing and processing of invoices on ERP system
- Update and check orders daily, against route sheets
- Update calling lists and standing orders at least once per week, or when necessitated
- Strictly adhere to and achieve agreed upon daily deadlines
- Convey product information to customers
- Continuously striving to improve on efficiency and productivity

**Skills Required**:

- Fluent in English (Written and verbal)
- _Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)_
- Excellent interpersonal relations
- Excellent customer-service orientation
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Above average conflict resolution skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Grade 12
- Proven experience in Telesales; Sales or Order Department activities
- Relevant Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Experience at a Bakery/Hospitality institute will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Bakery products will be advantageous
