**Key duties: Warehouse Supervisor**
- Manage the movement and storage of stock in the warehouse by developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient standard operating processes and methodologies which is also inclusive of cost of the inventory, warehousing, and transport.
- Quality checking tally clerk’s GRN / GDN docs.
- Assisting Tally Clerks with completion of GRN & GDN docs when the warehouse is busy.
- Quality inspect all despatches & sign all GDN documents for approval before releasing trucks.
- Managing the forklift drivers & general workers daily tasks.
- Ensure that the forklift drivers are handling the cargo with care.
- Learn each client’s cargo stacking and handling requirements.
- Optimise the stacking ability of all client’s cargo in the warehouse to ensure mínimal floor space is wasted.
- Efficiently utilise available space and provide idea’s how to create space.
- Controlling where & how stock is placed and removed from the warehouse.
- Ensuring stock cards are placed on all stock in the warehouse.
- Constantly communicate with the operations staff to receive updates as to what cargo is expected to arrive or despatch.
- Responsible for regular physical stock counts.
- Perform stock counts with the help of tally clerks, general workers & forklift drivers.
- Manage pallet & shrink wrap levels.
- Manage diesel tank usage and levels.
- Manage truck flows by minimising congestion in the facility & the public road.
- Prioritise which tasks need to be completed first on a daily basis.
- Arrange external labour when required.
- Ensure that the warehouse is been kept clean on a daily basis.
- Ensure that warehouse supplies, tools & equipment is returned back to the stock room at the end of every working day.
- Must always be available as the senior person in charge to work after hours during the week & on weekends as and when required by the warehouse clients.
- Responsible for opening & closing the warehouse.
- Lead the Warehouse team through the planning and allocation of work, developing and motivating subordinates as well as measuring productivity and taking the necessary steps to improve productivity.
- Working Hours 07:30 - 16:30, Mon-Fri.
- Must be available to work after hours and on Saturday's as and when warehouse operations require.
- Must have own reliable transport.

**Salary**: From R10,000.00 per month
