**Job Purpose**Responsibilities**:

- Validate automation performance by ensuring that the operation of all automation solutions are continuously monitored and that immediate action is initiated to deal with any operational defects.
- Manage Automation Incidents through the monitoring and facilitation of the resolution of all automation Incidents in order to optimise the ongoing effectiveness and reliability of automation solutions in line with the service level agreements with the various businesses.
- Assist in the optimisation of automation operations by continually creating an integrated “Big Picture” of the automation efficiencies as compared with the business expectations and strategies.
- Updating of process documents and artifacts related to all operational processes.
- Set and maintain departmental professional standards.
- Arrange and maintain the required access to the client and client systems.
- Reporting on the health of business solutions in production and initiate enhancements to improve service excellence.
- Essential Qualification- Relevant Degree
- Relevant Honours Degree
- Preferred Qualification- NQF Level 8 - Engineering, Computer Science, or Computations and Applied Mathematics, Qualification in Computer Programming, Information Technology or Information Systems.- Preferred Certifications- Blue Prism Associate Developer.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900).
- Minimum Experience Level- A proven track record of supporting operations with ICT or automation solutions.
- At least one to three years’ experience of operating automations systems within a large financial services institution.

**Type of Exposure**

**Automation Performance Monitor**
- Monitor that the automation solution is operational as is required.
- Ensure that all automation solutions are appropriately logged.
- Identify the possible causes of incidents and execute prescribed automation fixes and resetting.
- Provide ongoing feedback to business regarding the operational status of the allocated automation solutions.

**Automation Incident Manager**
- Track all automation solutions and determine the real status of the fix within the resolution process.
- Identify and remove blockages within the resolution process.
- Provide structured and concise feedback to all stakeholders regarding the prognosis and resolution status.
- Develop improvement reports related to the efficiency of the resolution process and recommend improvements to this process.

**Automation Operations Optimiser**
- Investigate the overall performance and efficiency of all automation solutions.
- Compare real automation performance with the expectations and needs of business.
- Investigate possible development and operationalisation improvements.
- Facilitate the adoption and implementation of improvement recommendations.
