**Overview**:
Planning and Scheduling of all inbound and outbound transactions. The Scheduler needs to ensure that all activities, roles and responsibilities are aligned to the world class (manufacturing) philosophy, principles and practices

**Qualifications**:

- Matric / equivalent
- Diploma: Logistics

**Experience**:
3 - 5 Years’ Experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain environment

**Duties**:
**Scheduling of all outbound loads to Customers and Depots**:

- Schedule loads, Liaise with depots and reps
- Create batch orders for bagging plant
- Liaise with bagging plant on product availability as well as production schedules

**Finalizing / scheduling master plan**:

- Liaise with BU's for finalizing the planning of packing and allocation of final product

**Calculating Blends**:

- Calculate blends and optimise BOM if needed

**Co-ordinate inbound raw material and outbound finished goods logistics**:

- Liaise with transporters, procurement, production, marketing and bagging to move material as and when required

**Plan and Optimize freight logistics to minimize costs**:

- Map, understand and improve product flows
- Minimize working capital requirements based on the Just-in-time principle and drive best practice behaviour

**Communicate regularly up and down the Omnia Value chain to ensure all parties are aware of the status of stock movements**:

- Communication to key individuals

**Gain market intelligence from transporters and other stakeholders and feed as much information as possible into the supply chain and production circles**:

- Network with external and internal stakeholders
