**AIS Technician**

Huge opportunity for a seasoned AIS Technician professional to join a dynamic team. The successful incumbent is to be responsible for implementing and performing AIS Function For Continuous Improvement

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Attending all meeting’s laid out in the Process Technician T&D, as well as adhoc meetings as per business requirements.
- Delivering on assignments on time that are assigned during these meeting.
- Implementing new standards which are issued.
- Confirming and maintaining current standards that are in place.
- Ensuring team members are always adhering to all the standards.
- Supporting issues raised by the teams.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding and implementing Engineering Changes of processes
- Configuration of online processes needed by Processes Technicians and Process Coaches.
- Understanding and feeding back error proofing issues: Use of Error Proofing website and feeding back to Lead Engineer.
- Removing Faulty equipment from the line and understand what is causing the fault.
- Identifying Daily improvements on Error Proof system (Kaizens).
- Identifying Near Misses

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Good understanding of IT Systems
- National Diploma in IT or similar
- Minimum of 2 years within the Automotive process engineering industry
