About the Role

As an Editor, you will prepare material for publication to agreed quality standards. You will ensure work is to a high standard and published within the agreed publishing schedule. As your training progresses, you will have opportunities to help prepare project plans and help with the design and creation of sample pages.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consult and negotiate with the author(s) of assigned works.
- Update, edit and proofread each assigned work/product in accordance with the relevant agreed project plan.
- Alert the managing editor of any changes or developments that may affect the publishing schedule.
- Ensure that content of the printed and digital/electronic versions aligns in every material.

**Requirements**:

- Have strong English reading and writing skills
- LLB degree or equivalent
- Have an analytical mind
- Have great organizational and time management skills
- Have some previous editing experience is desirable
