Assist the Client with the migration of the Rehost Applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Services using the rehost treatment by adopting the infrastructure, processes, and tools defined during the Wave 1 Mobilize Phase of the project and adhering to the End Client’s cloud risk governance processes.

Depending on the roles fulfilled by the Subcontractor’s personnel, the Subcontractor will assist the Client with any of the following activities:

- Governance and reporting of the rehost train
- Assessing the readiness of each Rehost Application to enter the rehost train. The parties intend to use the entry criteria defined in Addendum A
- Creating a business case for rehosting of production workloads
- Definition and tracking of the backlog of Rehost Applications, including all features and stories required to rehost each Rehost Application
- Setup and maintenance of project management tools, such as Jira
- Identification and escalation of blockers impeding the execution of the backlog of Rehost Applications
- High-level and detailed designs for the Rehost Applications in line with AWS reference architectures
- Reviewing the treatment strategy for the Rehost Applications following the completion of both high-level and detailed designs and with confirming such treatment strategy.

The parties may agree to revise the treatment strategy should it be confirmed that the treatment strategy initially identified was inappropriate for a Rehost Application
- Identification and tracking of security dependencies for the Rehost Applications
- Security and operations design for the Rehost Applications on AWS
- Adoption of operational run books and core information technology (“ IT ”) processes for migrated servers for the Rehost Applications
- Operational readiness checks for the Rehost Applications
- Developing an overall test strategy for the Rehost Applications
- Developing an overall change management approach for the Rehost Applications;
- Migration of the Rehost Applications to the End Client’s development and non-production accounts (with no change to operating system or database versions)
- Pre-migration activities for the Rehost Applications in Customer's non-production and/or production-ready environments, including:

- Setup cloud migration tools such as CloudEndure in the End Client’s non-production environment
- Deploy the CloudEndure migration factory solution into the End Client’s AWS account
- Build migration execution server to execute migration automation
- Define network and security requirements for the migration tools
- Review the End Client’s existing environment, tools, and processes
- Create and document the migration factory process, which will include mutually agreed upon automations for use with similar workloads and patterns
- Migration activities for the Rehost Applications in the End Client’s non-production and/or production-ready environments, including:

- Analysis of End Client’s current infrastructure and recommended sizing for targeted workloads using AWS Services
- Post-launch script build if required
- Install CloudEndure agent via automation script
- Verify CloudEndure replication status
- Troubleshoot CloudEndure issues
- Launch servers for boot up testing and verify status
- Terminate test instances within CloudEndure
- Validate cutover blueprint
- Launch instances and verify boot status for cutover
- Test remote desktop protocol (“ RDP ”) and secure shell (“ SSH ”) access

It is assumed that the following will not be in the scope of the Migration - Rehost Train workstream for the Subcontractor:

- Application level testing including functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and performance and security testing
- Active directory or single sign on integration

Assist the Client with the migration of the Rehost Applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Services using the rehost treatment by adopting the infrastructure, processes, and tools defined during the Wave 1 Mobilize Phase of the project and adhering to the End Client’s cloud risk governance processes.
