Nursing Trainer

**Purpose of the position.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing employees in a clinical setting e.g. Care Givers, ENA’s and EN’s
- Assess employee and client needs and develop customized training plans to improve job performance
- Conduct group or individual training sessions on a variety of topics, including but not limited to medical procedures, documentation, customer service, and compliance
- Evaluate employee progress and provide feedback to individuals and management
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure that training programs are current and relevant
- Keep abreast of new developments in technology and equipment to ensure that employees are properly trained on their use
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to clinical staff training
- Manage the scheduling of training programs and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Monitor training expenses and prepare reports for upper management
- Assist in the development of orientation programs for new hires
- Serve as a resource to employees regarding job-related questions or concerns

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Registration with SANC or Register as an assessor with SANC
- Proven nursing experience of at least 3 years
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training content
- knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the practice of nursing
- Knowledge of the old persons act
- Understanding of change management principles
- Facilitation and assessment and good communication skills in English or Afrikaans
- Computer proficiency
- Driver’s license and own vehicle essential

**Job Type**: Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
