**Job Description**:

- This role has a 2.9.2 appointment in terms of the MHSA, Act of 1996.

**The focus areas for this role will be to**:

- Achieve safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance of equipment.
- Attend and conduct safety meetings and participate in risk assessments.
- Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required and ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required.
- Complete job cards and describing of work and spares used.

This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.

**Qualifications
- You will be required to have**:

- Grade 12/ Standard 10 math's & science or N3 Engineering
- Rigger Ropesman Trade Certificate

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on incline shafts and chairlifts is required.
- Experience in rope splicing, Liverpool splice & resin capping is essential.
- Experience in construction and TMM underground sections is advantageous.
- Additional Information
- You must be computer literate
- English literate (speak, read and write)
- Must be able to do standby and overtime
- Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures
- Valid driving license and own reliable transport
- If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test.
- Must be willing to work shifts
