As an enabler our future plans are orchestrated around assembling a central payments environment that actively seeks and acquires strategic partners to enable service extensions. The core of our Financial Services Platform is a fully interoperable, cloud-ready composite platform delivering real-time value transfer and settlement, enhanced by a range of value-added services. The platform will leverage technological advancements aimed at:

- Managing complex volumes

Doing more will be realised through our creation of platform extension partners who will benefit from our standardised API capability which they in turn can offer to their clients, giving more. We aim to include new Market Actors through our value chain extension which will allow 'pass-through' connection in those cases where an existing actor passes services through a new actor enabling them to give more to the ecosystem without compromising the security or the role of the heavily regulated financial institutions.
- WHAT YOU WILL DOBankservAfrica form part of the South African National Payments System and are a trusted partner of the financial industry, including banking institutions, and therefore require that employees adhere to unwavering standards of honesty and transparency in performing their duties.

PURPOSE
- The main purpose of the role is to oversee and analyze revenue and costs, design and implement cost accounting system, track budget and costs, reviewing of costs for inaccuracies. Formulating and implementing cost savings methods; break-even analysis; performing volume and price and mix variance analysis on shared services costs. Make recommendations about cost efficiencies and financially feasible cost options to the business and management.

- Cost Centre Managers
- Product Managers
- Senior Executives
- Senior Heads of BUs

Your key responsibilities include:

- Financial Management- Drive best practice, iterative improvement, and innovation at a strategic deployment level and support for the Shared Services Business Unit
- Provide input into BU budget, demonstrate cost awareness and control and report on opportunities for optimization and cost containment.
- Manage and control project and program costs
- Analysis of Financial operations and contribution to forecasting (opex & capex)
- Prepare, analyze and report on monthly operational spend
- Oversee the Forecast expenditure of every cost center (financial modeling)
- Develop operational initiatives to achieve financial goals.
- Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- Understand the profitability and growth drivers for the busines
