The steel factory in Bellville is in need of a reliable and dedicated individual with experience in welding various metals using the MIG welding process.

We are looking for an individual with a good working ethic and technical aptitude that would take pride in welding steel workpieces and to take care of the functional, structural and aesthetic value of the product.

**The responsibilities include**:

- Preparing workpieces for welding.
- Welding metal workpieces using the MIG/Arc welding process.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining welding equipment.
- Following safety procedures.

**The following will serve as recommendation**:

- Grade 12 compulsory.
- Proficient in English/Afrikaans.
- Literate
- Meticulous, diligent, and dedicated.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Minimum 2 years MIG/Arc welding experience
- References for previous employer.

**Salary**: R55.00 - R63.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MIG Welding: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English and Afrikaans (preferred)
