Service of Marine and Land Based Fire Systems including:
- **Fixed Systems - (CO2, FM200, Inergen, Novec)**
- **Fire Detection Panels - (Smoke detection Units)**
- **Galley Systems**
- **Watermist Systems**
- **Respiratory Equipment (EEBD's, SCBA Sets & Resuscitators)**
- **Medical Oxygen Cylinders**
- Service and Maintenance of Portable MFS Units
- Pressure Testing of Hoses including Binding and coupling replacements
- Certification and approval of MFS systems
- Training and Development of Junior Technicians
- Support by ensuring the Marine Fire Station is kept **clean** and **neat** at the end of each consecutive shift
- Filing and Record Keeping of MFS jobs including documented reports and photos stored both electronically and physically
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time while keeping within the quality standards of Viking Lifesaving Equipment
- Support to MFS planner for technical advice
- Ensuring that Tooling and equipment are Calibrated within date and operational.
**Must have a basic understanding of Computer Skills**
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Paarden Eiland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:
- Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Fire Detection and Suppression System: 3 years (required)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License and SAQCC 1475 Certificate (required)
