**Job Advert Summary**:
The Lead Architect is responsible for informing technological decisions, growing and leading the development teams, driving development, and maintaining functional integrity of the company platform, delivering the highest standard of evolving software and client experiences.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 3 years experience in building, leading and growing an agile and efficient software development team to define and deliver scalable solutions.
- A proven track record of architecting and delivering complex technical projects to solve problems at scale.
- Experience in high velocity cadence to drive the development team to continuously deliver rapid production releases rapidly.
- Ideally a minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in software engineering and architecture.
- A strong knowledge of.Net Core, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure services (Service Bus, Blob, SQL) or other modern tech stacks and cloud services.
- Experience in driving engineering management initiatives, to improve delivery and engineering practices (CI/CD; SDLC; TDD; etc)
- Hands-on experience in coding and software development.
- Demonstrable experience with frontend technologies and modern JS frameworks (UI/UX experience)
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Will be a good communicator with an empathetic first approach; able to provide constructive encouragement and positive feedback to ensure optimal team performance.

**EDUCATION**

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

- Ability to manage time and tasks effectively to ensure that all targets are met in accordance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to execute all tasks accurately and effectively.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Guide the appointment of internal development resources, and lead the team to achieve required outputs and standards, encouraging learning and development within a transparent environment which promotes knowledge sharing, effective teamwork, and growth.
- Actively engage internal and external stakeholders to develop software requirement specifications that align business needs and sound technological thinking, delivering optimal platform solutions for customer experience.
- Manage third-party development partner delivery in line with required outputs and standards.
- Accurately identify and estimate development costs & delivery timelines.
