Linen Keeper

My client is seeking a Linen Keeper to join their housekeeping team.

**Responsibilities**:

- The linen keepers are responsible for the care and maintenance of linens, towels and other items used in the hotel.
- Be responsible for the entire hotel's linen.
- Hand over linen to the various departments
- Put away linen neatly once it has been washed, ironed and mended.
- Check periodically the condition of hotel linen.
- Maintain a register of linen movements checks the linen regularly.
- Ensure that the linen room is kept neat and clean.
- Look after the ironing and laundering of guests' clothes and the uniform of the hotel staff.
- Supervise the work of the linen attendants.
- Co-ordinate closely with laundry department to ensure a timely supply of fresh linen.

**Qualifications Skills and Qualifications**:

- Computer knowledge
- Experience working in excel.
- Good knowledge about cleaning.
- Any training in housekeeping
- At least 1 to 2 years' experience in Hospitality sector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

- Camps Bay, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
