**Job Description**:
Conduct regular check on spoilage to analyze and investigate
Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with specifications
Liaise with QA staff on product quality and specs.
Reject poor quality production and rectify cause
Evaluate raw material and reject if necessary
Adherence and improvements on HFI targets
Produce cans according to production plan / schedule
Monitor daily production against schedule
Effective utilization of machines according to standards
Drive line performance and reduce spoilage
Monitor and control consumables and production spares budget
Examine machine parts before replacing with new parts to reduce/ control costs
Communicate requirements (parts, manpower, services) for planned maintenance
Report mechanical an electrical problems
Undertake equipment set-up evaluations when required
Co-ordinate lubrications of equipment at correct intervals and report weaknesses to Foreman

**Job Requirements**:
Grade 12
Qualified as Can Maker
Can making Trade Certificate
Have technical knowledge and experience

Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong computer skills with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Be able to work under pressure;
Have the ability to communicate at all levels;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
Excellent administration skills with attention to detail
