**Company Description**

Our client in the IoT / Telecommunication Industry is looking for a Contract Shipping Clerk to cover for a staff member on maternity leave.

Contract will be until end July 2024.
- Create all new orders on evolution, Word and Send to suppliers
- Track and Trace all orders until delivery - Solving en-route issues
- Update the shipping schedule Weekly for the Team
- Request estimates for Couriers & Freight forwarders
- Assist with Courier Bookings collections and deliveries
- Handle all Imports Sea & Air freight Shipments
- Handle all exports Air Freight Shipment
- Ensure all export documents are Received, Journaled and Filed accordingly
- Handle Pre
- inspection and Liaise with Bureau Veritas on exports
- Ensure we have the necessary updated certificates for imported items
- Handle all forwarder’s accounts - questions and complaints
- Courier all samples, and assist with RMA repairs
- Request weight, dimensions and all relevant documents from international suppliers
- Handle Shipping documents, ensure correct VAT payable for clearance purposes
- Handle warehousing, if needed
- Verify that we are billed correctly
- Assist with NRSC regulations
- Costings for Local and International GRV on pastel evolution
- Handle all insurance queries on hardware
- Update all International Supplier Recons monthly
- Back up for reception / switchboard function
- Create Journal and Allocate accordingly
- Profit/Loss Clearance

**Qualifications**
- Air And Sea Freight Shipping Experience of at least 3-5 Years
- Imports And Exports Experience of at least 3-5 Years
- Financial background will be a distinct advantage
- Pastel Evolution / Sage 200 Experience Advantage
- Very Good Excel Experience Essential
- System Orientated
- Good Organized Admin Skills
- Figures Oriented
- Attention To Detail

**Salary**: R16 000,00 per month
