**Qualification/Experience**:

- BComm Degree in Risk, Financial Management, or Econometrics/ B.Sc. Financial Mathematics BCom Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or any relevant degree
- Minimum five years in Pricing of products in the financial services industry.
- Experience in credit granting and commercial property finance an advantage

**Job description**:

- Produces or reviews cost reports to make sure they accurately reflect work activity.
- Ensures financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future requirements as per legislation.
- Escalates potential risks that may lead to increased costs or financial losses.
- Presents work proposals on planned activities that will require financial resources
- Implements and manages innovative, mutually beneficial solutions, based on understanding of clients’ needs and expectations in area of accountability.
- Addresses client queries/complaints through providing specialist advice.
- Conducts further investigation and/or drafting of suitable responses to clients and customers.
- Provides feedback based on thorough interrogation of information.
- Identifies key pricing and operational risks within the business.
- Develops and maintains a risk matrix for the FMR business.
- Monitors risks on vehicles based on initial estimates.
- Provides counter measures to mitigate risks.
- Authorises quotations outside the system parameters
- Generates management and business information reports, prepares and delivers the month-on-month or year-on-year trend analysis.
- Provides recommendations on analysis for the management team to review.
- Monitors and tracks status of reports.
- Provides support with building pricing models.
- Builds and maintains relationships with service providers, who provides the pricing engine and underlying data
- Manages costing allocations and interrogates the variances by providing cost analysis and reporting to the business to support decision making.
- Interprets and provides feedback to the business on monthly basis that allows for effective decision-making that will influence profitability and pricing strategies.
