Highbury Media T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse, whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences. We are currently seeking a Creditors Administrator to join our Finance team.

**Job Purpose**:
The Creditors Administrator is responsible to administer the company's accounts payable process for four internal companies. The Creditors Administrator will work closely with other departments to ensure that supplier accounts are accurate and up to date.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that all supplier invoices are approved in accordance with the company’s approval policy before processing payment.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare payment batch, including the reconciliation of payment batches.
- Process payments in a timely manner and ensure payments are made in accordance with agreed payment terms.
- Process Forex/International Payment processing with Absa bank and Standard bank.
- Administer the day-to-day accounts payable ledger.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier accounts and ensure it is up-to-date.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable balances and outstanding payments.
- Administer Age Analysis
- Assist with month-end and year end audits, including BBBEE audits on supplier accounts.
- Reconcile monthly credit card statement.
- Reconcile and process payment of staff claims.
- Submit proof of payments to supplier when required.
- Maintain a current and accurate filing system.
- Process daily bank statement.

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Sage accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good organisational skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Outlook

**Qualifications**:
A relevant qualification in accounting of finance is preferred but not essential.

**Job Type**: Permanent

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
