Ensure work areas including equipment in use are safe, and all EHS programs are always adhered to.

Conduct daily safety checks as per safety checklist and ensure that Artisans conduct their daily safety checklist.

Ensure that all statutory inspections on plant and equipment are done and records kept safely.

Doing routine preventative maintenance through work orders and giving feedback

Mentoring learners through coaching

Commission equipment after maintenance has been carried out

To maintain production plant such that 90% availability is achieved with regards to Electrical, Fault finding, calibrations, PLC and mechanical work within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
