Qualification

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 5 Years' experience as Estimator in optimizing environment.
- A passion for prices, costs of materials, understanding the vendor market, competitor analyses, looking for technical knowledge growth (for both mechanical and electrical components), computing numbers quickly in the head, want to have a very accurate handle of as many vendor prices as possible.
- This person must really dig deep into the costing of every component being used. Understand what the component is used for, quality requirements of that component, the vendors/manufacturers that can supply the component globally, the price level of each vendor, the manufacturing process of each vendor and how the quality is controlled at each vendor.
- Understand the competitors, where they procure from, how their costs are determined and ultimately what the competitor would sell their product into the market for.
