**Role description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies, with a specific focus on TikTok, to promote wellness brands and generate engagement.
- Own the paid and organic media content strategy for the TikTok channel, deciding which content will perform as an advertisement versus organic placement.
- Create and curate compelling content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms that align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Research and identify relevant TikTok trends, challenges, and influencers in the wellness industry to inform content creation and collaboration opportunities.
- Manage and grow the TikTok accounts of wellness brands, including content planning, posting, engagement, and monitoring analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and influencers, to align social media efforts with overall brand strategies.
- Monitor social media trends, algorithm changes, and audience behaviors on TikTok and other platforms to optimize content strategies for maximum reach and engagement.
- Analyze social media data and metrics to measure the success of campaigns, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in social media, particularly on TikTok, to ensure that wellness brands are at the forefront of trends and innovation.
- Stay informed about wellness industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Understanding content that will perform in ads.
- Creating briefs & strategy guides to assist in influencer outreach.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in social media management, with a focus on TikTok, and a track record of growing and engaging audiences in the wellness or related industries.
- Deep understanding of TikTok as a platform, including its algorithm, trends, and creative possibilities.
- Expert understanding of which content works on TikTok as an ad versus organic content to drive new customer acquisition and organic brand growth.
- Excellent content creation skills, with the ability to produce compelling videos for TikTok and other social media platforms that align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Strong knowledge of the wellness and/or supplement/vitamin industry and it's audience preferences and behaviors.
- Experience in influencer marketing and collaboration on social media platforms, including identifying and building relationships with relevant influencers.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, such as TikTok Pro, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to stay updated with the ever-changing landscape of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze social media data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
- Relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
